PV Surplus Power Divert Switch Mark II Version is Out
The new Mark II version of the solar PV power controller switch is available now. The switch sense and measure the exported power to the grid from the PV system with a single sensor. The single sensor model makes the installation of the switch a very simple task. The existing immersion wiring from the consumer unit is used to control the immersion heater and this makes the switching circuit stable and reliable.
The Mark II is designed and manufactured in UK to make sure the customer gets a quality product. The internal DIN rail offer the options to extend the system as per the customer requirements. for example, the switching capacity of the switch could extended from the internal 16A to any 50A with a simple DIN rail relay add-on.
Hi
I have recently installed a 4Kw Pv system at home and am interested in your immersion heater power reducer and intelligent power monitor.
How does the immersion heater reduce the power? I assume it is not a heat sink. The intelligent monitor, if the system is only exporting say 500 watts will this still switch on the immersion heater or will it need to match the immersion heater rating before switching over?
Many thanks

Tony,
The compact power reducer uses an electronic circuit to reduce the load power consumption by half. The intelligent Mark II switch could be calibrated to run from 500w to 10kW surplus power.
